On 19 October 2016, Faculty of Computing, University Malaysia of Computer Science and Engineering (UniMy) had organised an industrial talk titled “How to Sell.An Idea”, delivered by Mr. Terry Tsang, the E-COMMERCE HACKER. He is a developer, entrepreneur and founder of EntrepreneurGuide.me, 10 Day E-Commerce and WooCommerce Extensions.

This inspiring talk was held at Denise Ritchie Lecture Room, UniMy, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. A total of 15 UniMy students attended the talk. The purpose of this talk is to share knowledge and experience in e-commerce industry and the essential entrepreneurship elements in e-commerce.

The talk was divided into three main sessions, namely, “How to Sell”, “An Idea” and “3 Life Questions”. During the first session, Mr. Terry Tsang had introduced to the attendees on various types of business models, types of products that can be sold and the technology that can be used for promoting and marketing the products. He subsequently shared “5 Golden Rules to Sell Anything” as the main content of the second session. The third session was focusing on student participation and motivation where they were asked to write some information regarding the three terminologies in life, which are, “LEARN”, “GROW” and “GIVE”, which was followed by the speaker’s explanation on the significance of each term and its reflection to the e-commerce.

Lastly, the question and answer session were smoothly conducted where the students were posed questions to the guest speaker regarding the e-commerce experience, entrepreneurship elements and e-commerce plug-in development.
