Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity

The future of cybersecurity can’t be discussed without considering emerging trends in technology and threat landscapes. The development and adoption of technologies related to big data, cognitive computing and the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber threats are growing in both volume and complexity. The solution to secure these systems and devices is imperative before fraudsters figure out how to exploit them.


The greatest challenge in cybersecurity make it a growing IT field dealing with protecting computer systems against attacks by hackers and cyber criminals. Cyber attacks may involve malware or hacking in order to get information, disrupt business, or even steal money.

United Kingdom-based cybersecurity firm Protection Group International (PGI) says IT professionals who upskill to specialize in security could easily see a 20 percent increase in pay.
